bought this 8" drill press 25 years ago, waited patiently for it to go on sale. Day one the chuck was defective. Sales lady took a chuck off a floor model and 2 weeks later she gave me another replacement. Today I installed the replacement, yes its been in the same drawer all those years. never had any issues. I was told WEN built these drill press for Mastercraft
