Suppose to be 28C tomorrow and sunny. Hoping to maybe paint this deck and let it have a baked on finish. Just a quick job, Will see what happens.

There it is. Painted. Jumpins I wish I knew more about painting. Things not going good at the first, so I spilled some, gun wouldn’t spray paint, air but very little paint and this and that. What should be fairly simple, seems to be a task for me. Have to hone my skills if I ever paint the Case 446. Frustrating when things don’t go the way you think they should and have done painting in the past with reasonable results and not much trouble. There now, a mini rant. Hehe.

Thinner has gotten so expensive, some people are buying the cheapo Harbor Freight guns and throwing them away afterwards.

Cost too much to clean a 10-15 dollar gun, thinner wise and labor wise. At least that's what I've been told by a friend of mine. He does what you are saying, JB, sprays and tosses! Those guns do seem to do a decent job, painted with one myself a couple of times, but I can't handle just throwing them away---LOL!

That goes on the 1970 John Deere 140H3 Doug. It won’t get used till next year maybe, if I ever get the motor in the tractor to run right. It’s gunna get rings put in someday. And hopefully that fixes the loss of power under load when using the snow thrower. I’m sure it would run fine to cut the grass, but if I put the deck on now, I may not have the engine ready for next winter. But if I don’t get at it soon it will be next winter.

You are pretty good at realizing how fast time flys by, Noel! That's how it seems, summer just started but winter will be here in a week or two! Hope the JD can be put back in service!
