Had the Husqvannra out this morning and cleaned up and blew the new snow accumulation, good the temp is 5*F and little to no wind but I could not budge the deep hard area of the end of the wheelchair ramp it was like hitting a solid wall, my friend it putting the blower on his White 2-105 and will come and blow that area out so I can get the Dakota to the ramp. Going in after dinner and get the PK and snowcaster out and clean up the shop area I got it plowed with the F-250 on Saturday boy was it hard in places not that deep but hard

Went into the shop got the PK and snowcaster out and blew snow for about 45 minutes it was about 5*F little not no wind and bright and sunny and the snow was flying ever so nicely, didn't get it all done so will finish up tomorrow hopefully. When I got the PK back into the shop I noticed that one of the 3 clips that hold the discharge chute in place was not holding got it off and found it was broken about 80% of the way at the back so I gas welded it back together and reinstalled. Will see if it holds if anyone has a parts snowncaster and has a couple of thoses clips and wants to sell them let me know

We've got some hard snow around here too. There was a drift forming from the Lilacs up to the driveway. Decided to move it back so the next snow doesn't block the drive. As I backed into it I noticed the snow five or six feet in front of the blower starting to move and slide up on top of the other snow. Kind of like pushing sheets of ice but it was snow.
Coming home from town the other day we were hitting pillow drifts on the road and then all the sudden we'd hit one that felt like concrete. Been driving in this stuff for almost 50 years and still can't tell the difference between the two.
