Hi folks, I just bought a Husqvarna TS-348XD 48" riding lawn tractor. As you know it has a fabricated deck on it. I live in NE Ohio, so the leaves are starting to drop. Since our home in on a wooded lot and we have about 40 giant trees in the area in which I mow, fall is not a fun time of the year dealing with all those leaves. For the past 15 years or so I have just mulched the leaves with my old Sears Craftsman 48" lawn mower. Well, it finally gave up, so I got the Husqvarna. I ordered the mulch kit for it (582559901) from Lowes ($81 vs $100 from the dealer). It should be arriving in a couple of days. My question to the members of this fine forum, is what is the difference the blades that come with this 582559901 and the Oregon Gater blades? Which is better? The Oregon blade number that I have researched is 596-615. I guess the blade length has to be 16 1/4" long. Any answers, advise, or comments would greatly "ease the burden of my ignorance".
