Although I grew up with strictly JD, I started branching out a couple years ago with a 1980 Power King 2418. This spring I went a little farther & picked up a 1961 International Cub Lo-Boy:

So far, I've repaired the original seat frame & added new cushions, new exhaust pipe & muffler, proper air cleaner, repainted the front wheels, hood & emblems. Still lots more to do, but it's kind of a "one piece at a time" project!

Maybe not green paint, but probably a "JD" imprint in the head!

Daily watering this morning, picked a few beans, then pulled one back wheel off Cubby. Cleand & painted the rim this morning, the wheel center this afternoon.



To hot to do anything outside this afternoon!!!

Trip to town this morning for new 1/2" fine thread nuts for Cubby's wheel bolts, Hardware store don't carry them, muffler/welding shop didn't have any, Carquest had them!

Put the freshly painted wheel back on Cubby this morning & pulled the other one. Just finished painting the wheel center, rim will have to wait a day or two!

I don't see any emblems on the side of that building.
I like tractors under 40hp. They are fun, easy to work on and most of the time you can work on them standing up or setting on a chair.
