My new place and my Man Cave

Looks like this may be the best place to post my adventures over the next several years. I have asked a lot from my restored Tractors over the last two Months removing flower beds, Moving a small deck. Bladeing, and moving from one house to another. RED hasn't need to mow grass (Heat dormant) so he got a break. HULK II did a lot of the grunt work moving cement blocks and the flower bed. BOH moved the small deck and hauled rocks on the small calico trailer. Old Girl had the snow blower removed and towed the big trailer with the house belonings. All grunted with the loads, but none failed. It was interesting to hear the engine tone change on the Onan N52M when towing a heavy load then pushing the clutch in. Hulk II and BOH (and me) still have a ton of rock to move / clean up. But we can take our time now.

Taking a much needed break. I have to haul a regular load of garbage to the dump in the morning, (bigger construction load will be later) missis is going with me so she can get grocery's as we haven't done that till the new fridge and old freezer was placed. I think that is all I'll do this weekend except get the back steps placed till I can get the old deck installed. I'll wait for cooler weather to tackle the rock removal and old deck disassembly.

That's great you are getting settled in, Larry! I remember one of the most peaceful naps I ever got was the day we were going to finally be able to live in our new trailer in 2006. The new couch got delivered and I sat down on it to take a break and 3 hours later I woke up! Wife just let me sleep that day. I'm not known to be a napper but it sure felt good then!

I need a new thermometer, the New one I have is running out of numbers. 104* in the shade, and 8' above ground level. Grass is ummm brown.

Wow, that's just brutal! We had a couple of 100*+ days so far this summer but also a lot of rain and humidity for here. There's a pretty big storm coming in from the west again right now.

Hope you get some relief soon Larry!

Hopefully it will come back, it did when we had the 2011 record heat. Had lots of heavy equipment on the grass this year so it may take a few years to recover back to this.

You know it's HOT when 90* in the Man Cave feels Comfortable. Walked outside yesterday into a 111* blast furnace, same for today and tomorrow. Even with the pop-up in the pool for shade it was too hot to swim till around 7:00pm. I took some measurements with my HF multi meter which has a temperature function on Celsius. at 7:30 yesterday,
Pool measured 29c / 84.2*
Ambient Temp 35c / 95.0*
