I'll give it my best,

1971-1972 FMC built Bolens Husky 3-speed 813 (Bolens G8). The top small front sticker I believe is "Bolens". Then below that sticker is Husky, and in red is 3-speed 813. I noticed the flush front face, precise sticker layout, and "H" cut out view in front of seat.

With an 8 HP Briggs?

It appears FMC bought Bolens in the 1940's and produced tractors in keeping the original factory and Bolens name, producing in Wisconsin until 1988? When Garden Way/ Troy-Built became the owners. Troy-built is owned now by MTD. I find it interesting the similarity in look to the Gilson.

As a note of trivia, FMC produced the Bradly armored personnel carrier.

The Bolens experts should be able to point you in the right direction for parts. Give them a visit on the Bolens Garden Tractor Forum. Hope this helps, it looks like it will plow snow easy.

I think that shifter neck unbolts from the trans. If it does, then the whole thing with the broken shift shaft will simply pull out so it can be welded.

You'r right Dan, i enlarged the one pic and seen the bolt head. I'll try and get it off tomorrow since the gut dropped it off for me. I hope i didn't pay to much for it tho. Was 70 to much to pay ?
