Do you treat it like a plough match even when it isn't one? Where you grading yourself afterwards?

Hi Keeping the ploughing straight . this stems from the bygone days where horses were prime movers.In the UK { Scotland } there was a pride in being good at your job . horseman went to a feeing market and if a farmer liked your work you were given a Shilling and shook hands this became an agreement for a year.Keeping the ploughing straight meant that when you sowed the oats by hand it fell into the grooves of the furrow then was harrowed across the furrow this gave a uniform covering of the seed..Everything you did on the farm was watched by your boss and all other farmers in the area.If the farmer was pleased with you he would fee you for another year if not you were back to the fee market Therefor pride in your ploughing was very important in your day to day life Ploughing matches are held to let people see how it was and is done today hope you like

Great looking job with the tractor. Thanks for sharing the horse plowing pictures too! Do you have any close up pictures of the horse plow. They are very different from anything that I've seen.
