New Use for a Tool

Some time back, I build a holder for the 6"-8" wheels (tire repair/changing). Today, I used it to hold a mower blade for sharpening! Now I can do both edges with out taking it out of a vise. Worked real good, about the perfect height.


Blade has to fit a 5/8" bolt though.

As far as I know! That blade is for a Dixie Chopper.

If you have a welding table just use a vise grip C-clamp to hold it down on the table with the cutting edge hanging over.

Lot of times I will hang the deck off the chain hoist, block the blade from turning and sharpen it mounted on the deck for just a touch up sharpening. Any more they go in the vise.
