Original seat or coincidence

Hi, my bolens had this exact seat on it, before I put a areisn emperor seat onto it, it was 15 pound, 30 shipping I figured what the heck.

So it has the same seat as this 1256 pictured on kiji. Coincidence or original?

I just sold a Bolens 1477...I figure original seat as it had Bolens embossed in it.....very rough shape though.

Seat in the first picture is not original equipment , 40 years is a long time for a seat to last especially left in the weather about 70% of these tractors seem to have aftermarket non original seats today
