I want it, I'd even pay the 1300 bucks for it! I need another building...

They are cool, but what was the point of a patio tractor? Was it originally made to be a collectible?

It was a marketing ploy to sell Deere's to people that couldn't tolerate the green and to appeal to women - and it was a flop. They didn't sell well.

Maybe I need to go get it and sell that original seat! 1300 for the tractor, 5000 for the seat...that's 3700 bucks profit!

there was a NOS blue seat on ebay a while back if I remember went for around 5 grand

The 1969 is the only year that can be easily converted to a Custom Color "Patio" because JD didn't use a special Type number. I'd be very careful about buying any restored 69 without photo documentation that it was originally a Patio.

That's the only thing I worry about when I see so many 69s up for sale!

There is a you tube video of 5 0r 6 of them being sold at auction in Iowa and they were bringing around $7,000 each,Pretty cool to watch

If you guys want to watch it I just looked it up ,I went to you tube and typed in Patio tractor auction and it was the first one that came up,Its on a Machinery Pete site
