And back in the car. Took quite awhile for the shop to do them. Almost 3 months. Seems that all upholstery shops here take a long time to do stuff. Any way, they are done and he did a nice job. Now the car needs to be inspected, serviced and cleaned up. Maybe get to drive it before winter. !!!!

Sounds like a guy that been there did that..! ;)
Rambler had seats used by Nash, hence the name Nash seats. Back of drivers seat folded down level with rear seat to create a large “bed” for lack of any other term.

Show everyone how the seats fold out for “date night”.
my first car ‘63 Rambler Classic
Mine was as well! 1963 Rambler Classic 660. My sister sold it to me for 500 bucks as I had to drive to high school. I had a job so I couldn't ride the bus. The front seat worked as described above, but no my family didn't start in that car---LOL!

That looks great Noel, looks like if you pick up the tools it's ready to roll! What else needs to be done?

I don't know if I would have been able to get myself up after laying in that seat. My back hurts just looking at it.
Noel you seats look very nice!!!

Doug, it just needs a Government vehicle inspection, has to be done every year, oil and filter, check fluids and get a good cleaning. Hoping the hoist install will be done this week. Then we can start at all the vehicles about 6 need stuff done.

Nice seats, the time they took turned out well.

I remember a family (old army buddy of dad's) from down south coming to visit my folks, had a nash with the flod down seats.

I need to find a shop to do the head lineing in our Buick. it is the velour type fabric glued to a stryfoam backer. It has came loose in a few spots.

Did upholsterer have to make the seat covers or were they available in reproduction?
Every year vehicle inspection!!!! In Ontario inspection is only required when a vehicle changes ownership. Occasional roadside inspections removes some vehicles that are obviously in poor condition

Pictures of the seat reclined. Because it’s a shorter model of car. The seat does not go down all the way. But a fella could still figure out a way.
