I had a cheapy from HF a few years ago broke while using it in my cordless impact. It was always bulky with the three jaw chuck. I’m installing a few shelves in my shop where the vaulted ceiling meets the walls. I have to drill down in the corner into the framing.

Amazon had this Dewalt and a Milwaukee. The Dewalt was smaller and had a lot more good reviews. The Milwaukee had reviews stating it was kind of bulky. This Dewalt is only 6” long with a thickness of an 1”. I’ll do a follow up later this week.

That little bit of length on that one probably helps a person aim the bit for whatever is going to be driven, and keep it stable while running it in. I got a crappy little one from Temu which isn't quite 90*. It works but kind of hard to keep it pointed the right direction. Used it quite a bit but I like the looks of that Dewalt much more.
