Guys I just purchased a Satoh 370d that has a loader and backhoe. Upon getting it home I noticed the loader has a crack on the frame. It does have a cylinder leaking, so I think one arm is doing all the work. Maybe this is what caused the crack. I do plan on getting the cylinder fixed asap. How would you guys go about repairing this crack?

Looks like a job for a professional welder to me. He will probably want to weld it on both sides. That means removing a lot of lines, etc. in the way. $$$ for sure but no good the way it is.

If you or a buddy can weld half decent, then grind a V equal on both sides of the crack almost through to the other side. Make a first pass with a 6011 rod, then top it off with 7018 rod. Grind weld flush, then weld a stretched diamond shape piece of 1/4" thick plate and weld this over previous weld to strengthen it. If possible, weld a similar plate on opposite side for even more reinforcement. If no welder buddies available, then take to a welding shop to hopefully get it done right.
