I cant help it. I enjoy putting together and saving what most would scrap or part, its my hobby.
Anyway my buddy Craftsmanmowerfreak ( from Gttalk )
Went and picked up this rough one owner SS14 for the engine for one of his Suburban 15s. So I snagged the rest of it. The factory cast iron Briggs powered Suburbans are a little harder to come by and we know that I'm fond of my cast iron Briggs.:)
This tractor deserves a resto and it may get it eventually but for now I happen to have a very nice 32 c.i. 16hp Briggs with gear drive starter just looking for a home.
So first off let's put it back together and use it a while and see what we have and what it needs.
Nothing like feeling and hearing an old cast iron engine running while driving and using antique/vintage tractors.

Looks like fun! My Yazoo has a 16 HP B&S with gear drive starter on it. Good running engine!

Thanks for saving another burban.
I'm not a fan of those Briggs, for some reason there is nothing about them that I get along with.

Sold below value to get rid of my Allis Chalmers B112. Just done with that POS engine.
I warned him, he will be fixing it every 4.5 days. This time it just needed points and condenser, but it'll need something else soon...

Whatever engine you put in it, I will be happy to see another Sears driving around
