My spring broke & of coarse no longer available. I found this easy fix on YouTube.
Here are the materials I purchased at TSC.
Once I removed the dash bolts I had to pry the side out so I could install the eyebolt. Be careful not to break. Once I did this I cut the end of the threaded part off that was past the nut to keep the length at a minimum. This causes the side of the dash to be out about a 1/4". When mounting the bolt back I slid three washers between the dash side & the frame. This will prevent over tightening & breaking the plastic.
All done works well. I also installed a new drive belt while I was at it.
