Don't know the year. They were made '61-'64 so its in there somewhere. Factory was Briggs 7.25 horse but has been upgraded to a Kohler 8 horse. I don't see any cutting - nice clean install that could be put back to Briggs if wanted. Kohler runs good - no smoke or knock. Seems to have more blow-by than it should. ??? Steering is good and tight, not worn out. Modern seat but its in great shape. Sickle mower works and doesn't have that crazy wooden pitman stick setup!!! This sickle will run at any angle including straight up like shown in transport mode. Tractor has been rattle-canned and wasn't a very good job. 1/2 of front tire sidewall is painted so that looks awful. Was painted when I got it. Mostly sat in the shed since I owned it. People have told me sickle mowers themselves can easily bring $750 up to over $1000. Makes a pretty cheap tractor @ $925 for this entire setup [tractor and mower] and I'll install a brand new battery so its turn-key and drive. Cash on pickup. Chillicothe, Missouri.
