This was suppose to be last winters project along with some repairs. I can only do a few minor things because I have to use it. It cut really nice last year but too short. Its cutting height was around 3". I dropped the rear rollers down all the way & marked a new hole in the bracket drilled & tapped it.

This will give me another inch or so. I adjusted the front carrier arms out to their maximum.

I soaked & heated the height adjusters to free them up last year. One of them broke so I repaired it using a bolt & salvaging the factory handle.

For some reason the po welded the roller axle on the brackets even worse it was longer on one end than the other. I cut the axle off, drilled out the plug & made a new one just using a section of 5/8" round bar stock. I ordered two new rollers & added them to the outside.

I'm very pleased with the additional height. I did clean the underneath, sharpened the blades, checked & greased the spindles. This winter it will be my priority to repair & patch some bad spots on the deck shell.
