Six pin key switch and harness

Hey guys I ordered a key switch from princess auto (Canadian Harbor freight) with the standard five pin connector with a 6th pin on it with a red wire. Have to see what the six pin is for but I figured for $12.99 to get the key switch with a nice new harness and long wires if you choose to splice into an existing or make new harness. The little 5 pin connectors are usually five or six bucks apiece so it doesn’t seem like that bad of a deal???

6th pin is usually ground.

Yeah it should work fine, the one I have now must have burnt the starter contact inside at one point because they added a push button start & I hate it so when I rebuild it'll get changed
