Snapper rear engine riders

Anybody mess with Snapper RERs? I do because my late dad worked on small engines for years and he thought Snappers, especially the two pedal models were the best mowers ever made. He passed away 21 years ago. I had, until about a year ago, never seen a push blade for the front of a Snapper. I found a new one and bought it, then learned that there was two different models of the blades. Recently, I found "the other one" and bought it so I now have both models. I think one is for the single pedal mowers and one is for the two pedals mowers? The Snapper in the pic is not one of my good ones, it just happened to have a blade on it when I took the pic.IMG_20210603_192314343.jpg Notice the lift handle is on the opposite side on the two blades.
The blade attached to the mower is the first one I bought for $30. It was bought new, with a Snapper and a bunch of attachments, bagger, rake, trailer, etc, and never used. The homeowner had long ago upgraded (?) to a newer mower and the blade was left hanging on the garage wall until I came along.

I made the mistake at show/swap that I was kinda interested in old simplicity rear engine (I was more interested in the engine on it old 143302 briggs). The guy wanted 300 for it. He dropped to 150, and got all annoyed with me because I still didn't buy it. I walked and he dropped to 100. I kept going. I explained I just wanted the engine. He got even more annoyed. Then I just left

I paid $10 for the one in my pic at a yard sale. It had a newer 8HP B&S engine. The seller showed me that it started and ran great but would not move out of it's tracks. After I paid him the $10 and loaded it he handed me two drive discs, a worn out one and a new one and said "I don't know what these are but I think they go with the mower". When I got home and checked there was no drive disc on the mower, but the bolts were there. I installed the new disc , checked the oil, topped off the gas and mowed my lawn.

We had one when I was a kid. Dad cut with all the time. Don't remember what happened to it. 10 years ago dad bought a brand new one at the dealer. Not sure why but he used it for 4 or 5 years. It's in the back of the shed standing up on end. It hasn't moved since.
