Im not sure which way the wires go on the terminal. The electrical is totally butchered on this ride. Thanks for any advice

Is it a 3 terminal or 4?
The two big terminals on the top is easy, One goes directly to the battery, the other to the starter.
Small terminal usually goes to the key switch (S) terminal. This is usually a white wire that also travels through several safety switches.
If you provide a model # a proper diagram can be obtained.
