The first Cub Cadet I plan to bring home

I recently stumbled onto a nest of about 7 or 8 Cub Cadets. The owner wants to keep one and sell me the rest. Here's the first one I hope to start on.
I believe it is a March 1967 model.
It obviously has the wrong steering steering wheel, which I hope to replace.

Is a '67 a good find? Would this be a Model 71? I cannot read the decals on the hood sides. The serial number is 190557. Thanks.

any reason why you would pick one over another? This one more complete than the rest, or look most likely to run with the least effort, or something else?

No real reason. I just like the style of it, the grille, the "square" fenders, the proportions, etc. Actually, I plan to buy all the whole pile that he has over the next couple of months except for one that he wants to keep. I'm just not sure which one that is. I don't think it will be the '67 though.

Thanks. I will be looking for the correct steering wheel. Does everything else look right on it?

Looks like "mine" might have the wrong seat? I like the seat on yours better.

Anybody know if decks interchange between 102 and 122s? I'm guessing yes.

Does this look like the right deck, minus the belt guards?
Do the two small holes at about 2 o'clock in the pic look factory?
thanks

1. Yes the decks will interchange. Only difference between the 2 tractors is the engine size.
2. No that does not look like the right deck. That appears to be a 38 inch "quick attach" or "pin on" deck. Would fit a later model like a 104 or a 106. Your tractor would use a "bolt on" deck.
3. If it is the 2 I am thinking you are talking about then no those holes should not be there. Those decks have a small welded stud to hold the guards on.
