Just as the title says, Refresh, I don’t do restores. Hoping to have it looking orangey colour in the next few weeks or longer or shorter, ya right. Any way. Gunna paint the rear wheels and the tractor. Some of you know about my painting skills and frustrations about painting. But it may look better than it looks now. Should be simple to do, right. But. But I know. So I’ll try and take you along with me for my ups and downnns. Have a couple of things I want to fix yet. Any body know what holds the engine bonnet once you open it, to stay open. Mine just goes right over.

Hi Noel which tractor for the hood question if its the Case there was originally a stop tap on the lower left side of the hood it maybe bent or gone the 446 I had it was missing so I attached a length of light (1/8") cable to the hood and the engine, I had a picture of the original stop but can't find it now

For the Case Gary. This tractor had a lot of stuff at the front changed over the years. I’m thinking stuff is missing. But never having one before, I don’t know what’s suppose to be there. Is this part of the stop. Muffler is different cause they cut the hood to fit, nasty but that’s what I got. Pto changed, oil cooler changed, I’d say exhaust tins missing are just a few things I see.
Thanks Gary.

Hehe. First part painted. The rod that the bonnet hinges on. Was a nut on the end holding it in the tractor. So I drill a hole in the rod and will use this pin to hold it on.

Hammered out dent in rear left fender. When I get the tire and wheel off. I will be able to get a better whack at it. But it’s ok any way.

A little more done clean as much of the dirt, grease and crud off as I could. Removed the spring loaded pins for snow thrower hook up. Hehe I don’t think I knew that grease nipple was there. That section was full of dirt. And with bonnet on you can’t see it.

Noel.

Going to fix up draw bar. Have bent it a couple of times. So I’ll cut the new piece to fit, weld it on and then drill hole for ball thru.

That's an interesting logo on that wheel weight, Noel. The "Fo" part looks strangely like the Ford script.

Your getting a lot done! Looks like it has been modified enough that you are free to modify whatever you want too!

Love the old kerosene lamp.

Draw bar fixed up. Not a big professional job, but it’s fixed. Will if it bends I guess over time

Any body know about how many rattle spray cans it would take to paint this tractor. Still undecided what paint to use and what method. Spray cans or spray gun. Amount of spray cans may give me a better to the cost.

Noel

Zesty orange pretty close in colour. Draw bar and rod painted with it. Access panel original paint. I’d say.

Yours older model Kenny. Takes different colours. Mine is Power Red, body parts, which really looks orange. Wheels are white.

Yours Dessert Sand, body parts, wheels Flamboo Red and some body parts. Not sure on the colour names. Check before buying.
Don’t want to steer you in wrong direction.
It just would have the newer colours If you painted it like mine.
