So on my 86 Ford LGT 100, I'm having issues with it not starting. It hasnt run in sometime and im.just now getting to addressing the issue. The motor is already rebuilt(not by me) so I'm not fully sure what the issue is. Everything turns to start electrically wise but theres no fire. I checked the gas line and there is gas in the line. Spark plugs maybe? Otherwise I'm not sure what it could be.

Not familiar with Ford 100's but check your spark with a good spark checker, not the spark plug. Make sure you have voltage through the coil if it is battery ignition. Could be points, condenser, wireing, etc. Hard to say without more info.

Maybe if pictures of the tractor and engine were posted we would have a better idea what we are working with. Last lgt 100 ford that, I know of, was 1983, or older. It would have a k241 10 hp kohler single cylinder engine. Battery ignition.
He says spark plugs, which would mean more than one cylinder.

Give it a shot of starting fluid and see if it fires. If it fires it is a fuel issue, likely a gunned up carb. How long has it been sitting? Was ethanal gas left in it?
