Tractors in the garden

Used the Craftsman with the pull behind tiller and tilled the garden. Then took the JD 2032 with the hiller and hilled the rows. Didn't push the dirt all the way up to the plants just made dikes on either side of them so the water stays near the plants. Our garden has a slight slope to it so if I put the water to run on one end it will go to the other. We are suppose to be getting some temps near 100 this weekend with strong winds. The ground is still nice and moist but those hot winds are going to dry things out.

Weather sounds pretty similar out at this end of SD too Chris. Hope you can keep some moisture in that nicely groomed soil!

Nice job Chris. That’s a good rain catcher for sure. I’m hoping I get my rig done by next year. That’s a beautiful site watching the dirt get trenched and then rolled over to hill potatoes. My plan is a tool bar with moveable furrows, disc and maybe a busting bar.
