Two barn finds and the shop is FULL!

Had to do some rearranging to put two more G.T.'s in the shop.
I picked up a couple Wheel Horse units. A 1967 Wheel Horse 1267. 12h.p. Kohler, starter/generator, gear transmission, with a snow blade.
The second one is a D-160. 16 h.p. Kohler, hydro, 3 pt., hydraulic lift, huge snow blade, and a nice mower deck, and a new looking Wheel Horse seat. It also has wheel weights, chains and NEW rear tires. The tires still have the tits on them.
The 1267 turns over by hand. But when I attempted to jump start it the last cable hooked up gives off a big spark. So it has a short somewhere. I will probably replace all the wiring. They both need a good bath.

The D-160 has a Kohler 16 h.p. single. I jumped its battery and it fired off on carb. cleaner. First thing is to change the oil then I'll clean the tank, replace the fuel lines and filter. Clean the points and see if she'll run. The snow blade is 56" wide and 19" tall. It has some big wheel weights (probably about 80 pounds) and chains. Itching to see if the hydro, and hydraulics work.

Did I mention the shop is full? I had to put the push mower and the granddaughters little electric car in the office area.

Wheel Horse tractors are one of my favorites. Dependable and easy to work on.
I’ve never had the pleasure of owning a D series but they are big.
Where do you find room to work on your tractors?
Hopefully I have a Cub Cadet 22135 sold. That will give me a little room.
I usually work off of a harbor freight motorcycle lift with a table attached.
However if I need to move something on or off of it I have to open a door and move two tractors out of the way.

Nice score.
I always thought the front end of the WH Dxxx tractors were even uglier than the early 80's Craftsman GT's and FF's.:D
The WH looks like a tractor hit a window shade at high speed and kept going. I don’t think any other tractor has had more different designs and colors than Craftsman.
