Update on my ploughing with my Harkness plough

As the weather has been good lately I have managed to get in some practice this is my 13 th day.Things are improving every day I am glad because this is the start of the ploughing season 4 matches in the next 2 weekends

Is that frost or a lite coating of snow in that one (#3) picture ?

How do you drive off your first furrow? It appears to be absolutely straight!

You set up Feering poles on your plot making they are in line then you do a throw out get judged then you throw it back in again plough 8 furrows then get judged again the you plough until you are finished and you are judged again they add up the scores ,the one with the most points this is my trophy for the first time out.I have spoilt it for myself I have to keep getting better HA HA.When I am out again I will take pictures as I go it will give you a better idea I will let the members judge and mark them as they see it Thanks Ps will look up the rule that we follow

When you win it you get a bottle of whisky with it You poured it in the quaich and passed it around, that was when we were young now we just take it home HA HA
