Hi, this year for some reason a couple of pot holes got started in the drive finally got tired of them and got the Earthcavator out and used the rippers to loosen up the gravel then the box blade to level and move gravel to the 2 low spots took about 1.5 hrs but its looking good for now

Good lookin tool Gary. That’s what I need for my Ferguson. Pot holes in my driveway too. Hard to get rid of, fill them and they come back fairly quick, they say you have to dig down past the depth of the pot hole to get rid of them.

I ended up with one of those Earthcavators once. Didn't have a use for it so sold it. I'd think they would be the real ticket for tearing up compacted ground or filling small potholes.

If I remember correctly, did you build that? I sense these are old pictures, or that box has a trick up it’s sleeve, getting rid of potholes under ice in frozen ground. Haha!

The trick to fill potholes is get the gravel wet, but not too wet, before working it. If done dry all the fines will work to the bottom and coarse will stay on top leaving it with no fines to bind it all together. If you watch professional road crews spreading gravel they don't have a water truck there to keep the dust down.
