Is planted to grass, some potatoes were coming thru from what was left in the ground from last year.
Used Grunt with the cultivator to bury the seed some. Didn’t have it all the way down and put a pipe on the back to help level it. Worked not bad, but pipe could of been a little heavier.
And used the hiller to make four rows for sons woman to plant stuff, in the other garden.
Any way , done and over with.

Not one bit of the work done there looks at all sad. :)

I think the sad part is the road next to you with all the new builds and traffic. ugh.

To save the building industry, the Feds tightened their rates. It crashed the lumber prices 50% off of their highs. It could be affordable now for the next 30 to 60 days. Now is the time to re-price lumber projects !!!

I agree 100%. Our visitors comment "Your out in the middle of no where." Darn sure betcha and that is why we are here. No traffic (two ways in or out, one dirt one rock each 1.25 miles) neither road goes anywhere but to another road. No loud radios, no balls bouncing off the house walls, no screaming kids, no squealing tires. Norm is one vehcile a day - the mail man. Once the trees leaf out can't even see the closest neighbor over a mile away. Just us and nature.

Got 25 sweet potato plants in the mail yesterday. Going to get them in the ground either this morning of this evening. Usually use a hoe and pull up a ridge to plant them on but not putting my back through that this year. They will go in the level ground. Dirt is a sandy loom type soil and is real loose. Never had a problem digging anything in it.
