Wet sanding paint.

Looking for information on that. I have some idea about it, but would like to know your methods and ideas.

Tractor or show car? Its been awhile but I think it was 1000, 1500, then 2000 a rubber block, using 45 degree motion. No circles or back and forth.

Just a tractor. Orange peel type finish. Just like to smooth it a bit.

You may have to clear coat it after Noel, it may take the shine off

Jaebelman's method is fine but like Jason said, it may need a clearcoat, Noel. Some paints just won't buff to a good shine again after wet sanding.

If it were me I'd start with 400 grit wet and when your to the point that most of the orange peel is gone switch to 600. After this it would be rubbing compound. I use a bucket of water and a large sponge to keep the surface flushed. You need to be very careful near corners and tight radiuses or you'll go through the paint.
