What GPH pump for a wood splitter.

Wondering what gallon per hour pump would be good to use on a wood splitter. I have the wood splitter which I operated from my 1951 Ferguson tractor. Split anything, but slower than cold molasses. So I want to just hook up a pump and tank and a few fittings to one of my garden tractors. My Ford LGT 100 is easy to get to the front pto and run a belt from it to the pump. Ideas please. Remember, I know nothing.

I think I put a 13 or 16 gpm pump on mine, it may also be two stage but I can’t seem to remember. The pump is behind a 11.5 hp Kohler command that has plenty of power.
