Hi folks,

Going to take a look at a 417A tomorrow. He says it is a strong running engine. No attachments, but has wheel weights and chains included. I'm primarily looking to use it to mow my lawn. Asking price is $275. Any thoughts? I'm wondering if this a good option in terms of a WH and if there's any issues finding decks for these.

All right, I just bought it. My first Wheel Horse. It's got a leaking tire, lousy brakes and some rust, but it started right up and sound great. Now to find a deck!
 
That's a pretty stout machine. You should be able to find attachments easily. Rear discharge decks always cut nice
That's way to new and useful for me. I got 6 or so wheelhorse"s in the shed their working days are long gone!
