Wheelhorse 500 Special

I found the Wheelhorse 500 Special, minus the Tecumseh engine. I'm thinking about it but I really don't care much for a non-original repower. If I decide to go get it I will replace the H60 Techy. Someone on another forum was kind enough to offer me an engine for just the shipping cost, not sure if it was an H60 though. Anybody else on here got a 500 Special?
 
Yeah, I'll try to "bundle" and get him to throw in that old push plow. There's a Simplicity gt too but it appears to be a Frankentractor made from two or more models.
 
Hopefully your getting real cheap or free. Plus side wheel horse are easy to find. Downside is your going to put alot of time and money into this. Quick glance a number of piece's are missing, the trans pulley is off, clue #1 the trans axle might have issues, if not it's most likely full of water. Square hoods are neat. I like mine

Guess I'm not gonna buy it, the "seller" won't respond to my messages. Oh well, guess I'll do without it, have so far.
 
I wouldn't worry about it, the seller did you a favor. Didn't want to say it then but that tractor was a money pit that no one would want to get into.
