Sorry for the short notice but I'm still recovering from the flu. This is a small but fun event and a good excuse to get out of the house this time of year. The event is held at 2115 River Rd., Bainbridge,PA right nest to where they hold Susquehanna Old Fashioned Field Days in September. The organizers provide hot dogs and sausage which you cook yourself over a huge fire. There is also hobo stew in the tent along with coffee and pastries. ( A donation to cover their expenses is appreciated ) The event starts about 7 A.M.

It is usually the coldest day in January. But with our warm spell it might be a good day this year.

As I remember last year was a cold day. But I agree Shorty, the extended forecast shows a decent day. Of course that could all change, but hopefully not.

Usually up at a cabin that weekend. So I never got there to experience it. Last 10 years it has been the coldest weekend of the month.

Well tomorrow is going to be a cold one. Only about 20°F to start but the wind is supposed to calm down. Sure will make the fire feel that much warmer. Hope to see some of you there.

Temperature didn't get above freezing , but with little wind it was bearable. I was just happy to see many friends and familiar faces.
