Opinions on this cheapo plasma? Consumables are cheap. It's only $280 CAD ($206 US0 delivered with a coupon so I wouldn't be out much lol. Won't see a lot of use, just deciding if it's worth it. I know it's very low end so not expecting much lol. Get what you pay for hmmmm.

Well, if it will last it's sure a ton less than my 50 amp Thermal Dynamics plasma cutter! Gave $1200 for mine about 15-20 years ago! Prices have came down since. I'd say go for it! It's not like you're gambling with a lot of money and I'm sure you're gonna love it. My 50 amp will rough cut a full 1" and same 1/2" clean cut.

I don’t know what to say other than i could have mine delivered for Sunday!! Sort of like a bandsaw in that a plasma cutter would eliminate so many tools and speed up some very tedious tasks. Keep us posted.

I have been looking at the one from Harbor freight for $399.00 US . It will do up to 5/16" . Just an option. I know they take a lot of air to cut properly. Good Luck.

I ended up getting this one instead. 360 bucks Canadian delivered on discount from Amazon. Just tried a couple of quick cuts did half inch by half inch and three-quarter by three-quarter. Just cut some pieces of key stock I had. I’ll try it later on some wider stuff. It had really good reviews and I like the digital display. We’ll see how long it lasts.
