Stuck 5 gal buckets

After this many yrs I finally found a cure for this, just run 3 equal spaced beads of contruction glue down the sides and let let it dry to hardness. works great for me. When you set it down to dry drop the handle so it doesn't touch the glue!!

It is easy to separate buckets by aiming a high pressure air hose at the juncture of the two buckets. They will normally pop apart.

I try to watch so I don't get them together so they stick but that don't work most of the time. Have to try the air hose trick.

I seen some young guys walking through HD deliberately pushing down hard on the buckets they have for sale...

Sort of reminds me when shopping carts get stuck together at the grocery store

I heard once that a strip of duct tpe down the side of a bucket would kep it from getting stuck. Nevewr tried it but sound reasonable.

Drill 1/8" the hole in the side near the bottom. Duct tape over the hole when you need water in it.

Simple solution, soon as you get a bucket, fill it with useless junk so another bucket won't fit into it! That has worked for me for decades!---LOL!

Your paint sticks must be shorter than mine. I have to break a piece off before they will lay flat in the bottom.

Not everyone’s stir stick is the same length. We have to stir with what we have!

It is really simple. Put a remotely activated automotive air bag in the bucket before placing another bucket inside. When you want to separate them, set off the bag. Guaranteed separation.
