31 Chevy "sort of"

This a local guys Chevy that he put together. He's into all kind of weird stuff and pretty much anything that has wheels and a motor. Told me its a 31 Chevy coupe,, or was...I ask him if its legal for the road and he winked and said " well did have to put lights on it "...And he does drive ot on the road. Thought I had taken more pictures but here's a few..

Looks like it has good bones to build something on that! That old six banger is a cool factor in my book!

He said it was. First year for the overhead valve motor he said. Which kinda surprised me cause I didn't think they came till much later..

Chevy actually had an OHV V-8 as early as 1918! It had exposed pushrods and was only produced 1 year.

The only reason I know that is there was a local antique car museum that had one back when I was a kid. For some reason I never forgot that.

Simple, yet creative! I can't identify what he used for that box in the back, both ends and the back have a finished look. I thought small refrigerator at first but don't think that's right. Also, the deal in the bed with a v-belt pulley on it. What is that, Bill? Maybe he built stuff just to make people wonder?---LOL!
