Prepping the 1945 John Deere B for the tractor show

Not much time to get a tractor ready for the local show so I thought I would take the 1945 John Deere B hand start. While tedding hay this year I had a sidewall failure in one front tire which I changed to finish the hay. Yesterday I swapped out the other front tire and the pressure washed a layer of dirt and cow dung off of it. I think its ready to go. Think I will clean up the truck and trailer today.

Getting some rain today but the report for the show shows mostly sunny with temps going from mid 70's to around 80. Sounds like they have invited a car club in on one of the days. Maybe Cvans will bring June Bug. ;) My brothers grandson is getting our Farmall H ready for the show also.

I was just looking at the old photo's of this tractor when we got it. Dad purchased it in August of 2013 so dad has owned it for 11 years now. Here are some pics of where it sat when dad bought it and one of the tractor that donated the tires and wheels to get it rolling. The serial #'s are only 800 different so they weren't far apart on the assembly line.
