My Bota came with the SSQA bucket on the loader. When I bought it we didn't want to pay the extra money for it. The dealer whent thru his stack of front loaders and could not find one with out the SSQA bucket and not wanting to call and tell use we would have to wait for him to find one or order one he thru the SSQA in on the deal.

Ok now I have it I want to pit a snow plow on it but do not want to pay the thousands for a new SSQA one.
$1500 for 79" one which I am sure my bota can handle.

I was given this Farmal H with rotted out rear rims and all the plug wires missing due to a crazy woman wife.
Any way I am kicking around converting the blade so it is a SSQA hook up to the Bota.

Should have taken thre time last summer to do it. As it is I am going to wait till summer 2019 to do it now.
I like front blades for plowing the drive way.

The pacer needs new tires on ther rear now. and the blade isn't wide enough to do the drive in one pass.

I don't know how it is where you live, but I have 3 different home based welding shops making skid steer attachments within 50 miles of me. The nearest auctioneer always has brand new unsold buckets and forks on their consignment auctions. CL is full of attachments. And every once in a while, someone needs to get rid of an unused attachment plate, like this:

Skid steer quick attach tach plate for attachments

No craigs list SSQA blades here nor any plates to attach to a snow blade like I have.

I'll have to make up my own plate but should not all that hard. Finding the steel will be the hardest I think.

I sure wish my BX25D had the SSQA. Mine is the former QA system, but the SSQA is simpler. I think the year after I bought my tractor was the first year for the SSQA in the BX line.

No familiar with the QA system? How does it work?
MY SSQA system had a couple levers that push heavy pins in holes at the bottom of the bucket. The top hooks under a lip.
I am going to make a lock system for the levers once it warms up.
When I was pushing brush and pushing into a pile it unlocked one side twice.

Ya there are a few at TBN scattered all over with no real post on makeing it a front blade where the bucket is removed and the blade attached.

Best one I found was on you tube of a Allis WD series tractor with a V plow mounted on a pinned front loader frame.
I wish I would have saved the picture as I am unable to find it today. He had also made a heat houser with those cheap blue tarps you can buy.
Looked like the olden days grean canvas ones.

We have a big ACE hardware store in the area that has those canvas heat housers on hand for a lot of the older tractors. I got one for my IH 400 several years ago for $300. To many people wipe the windshields with their hand and scratch the dickens out of them.

Spent lots of days behind one of those on a Super 88 Oliver and a couple WD45s when I was a kid. Dad would get me and the tractor thru the gate and In the field when I was just over 6yrs old and turn me loose diskng and plowing corn ground. Loved the hand clutch on the A/C tractirs.

Didn't do much tractor work in the winter with the tractors. just plowed the drive way is all and didn't have a heat houser for our WD or the WD 45.

As a kid living much farther north that here I can not rember getting the snow like we started getting in the 70's
