Hello everyone,

I'm unsure if this is allowed here but I'm hoping that someone here can help me track down the block for my father's '56 JD 60. The block is apparently scarce. It's model number A4320R and its been passed down to me. Unfortunately, after his passing it went to storage with a family friend and was damaged. I'm now stable with a home and I have it with me. In short, I'm trying to make dad's tractor right again. I'm in Ontario but will drive a fair distance to buy a used part.

Thank you for your help.

Just google the part # and lots of blocks come up. They range from old used that need all of the machine work to already bored with new pistons. Its up to you what you want, but here are a couple examples.

Try hemmings motor news, they used to have people advertizing to repair blocks. We have a place here, an industrial head machine shop that does it. Call old automotive machine shops they will know. Also, look for professional restorers, ones that do serious stuff, like packard, they will know too. Can we see the damage? shareit vidmate
