So I built this 48” 3 point rear scoop. It’s just shy of 1/8” from the side of an old oil tank that I bent 90 degrees. The T frame and the top of the bucket is 2x3x3/16” tubing left from a trailer build. All scrap but I have to pick 4’ of 3” flat bar for a front wear edge & 3’ of 5/8” round stock for the trip handle, the one there is 1/2” on the upright because I only had a short piece left. Have to weld the top edge of the bucket ( ran out of wire lol), break down and paint. I was going to use a dump cylinder but real estate was tight & it’s just for mulch clay hauling wood maybe. It was a cheap project otherwise would have just waited til I do the loader. Close to 3 1/2 cubic feet. Gonna weigh it tomorrow just to see but it lifted 400lbs in it tonight, more than I’ll probably put in it.
