Figured I'd post some pictures of this little guy. 14 hp 2 cylinder diesel. 4 wheel drive.

Bought this about 20 years ago and now has about 900 hours on the clock. Been bullet proof . Hope that statement doesn't come back to bite me.

Handy for loader work but use it mostly for plowing snow. Also have a 5' back blade. 4' mid mount woods mower too but don't use it.

Again just showing some pictures. Thanks for looking.

Boy is it a nice and clean unit! It's obvious you've taken extremely good care of it.
Thanks. These tractors were made I believe from 86-92.
I'm thinking I bought it in 98 with about 300 hours.
It also has what Yanmar calls Power Shift, meaning you can shift 1-2& R without clutching. Pretty cool feature for a little tractor back then to have.

and don't tell too many but it does get a occasional wash and wax.

Right now if I was in the market for a tractor the first stop I would make is the Yanmar dealer. If the new ones are anything like the older ones their quality should be first rate.

The John Deere dealer I worked for in 79 to 81 sold the green Yammar tractor. Somewhere along that time JD made a deal with Yammar or bought stock in them because that's when the Yammar built 650-850 John Deere model tractors showed up at the dealership
They were good little tractor, very easy to use.
Those 650-850's were just Yammars in JD sheet metal.

You both have really taken good care of those Yanmars. Nice!
Thank you. I cant take all the credit tho, im the 2nd owner & have only owned it a few years. The PO kept it indoors its whole life as I have. It had 317 hours on it when i purchased it, & its at around 380 now. To my knowledge its been hosed off after each use before being brought indoors. Its a 1986 vintage & I consider myself very lucky to have found & purchased it. They are great little tractors.

Hey Ken. Feels like we're getting all the 147's back together after being separated at birth. I know there's another guy over on TBN that has one too. Get him over here and have a reunion.....
