Built this for the rear weight that was hung on rope and BTW the rope has since been cut off. Seemed to help the steering some. I may find something longer later to extend it further out. I better wait to see how much steering I have with the blower lowered. Thinking about getting some #40 chain to wrap around the tread center on the front tires. That should help ease the steering some too.

Looks like the brackets are plenty strong! How much weight do you have hanging on it?

Added some length for fine tuning overhang. Had to ream the .490" ID pipe to .500" to accommodate the 1/2" cold rolled I found in my misc. stock. I'll use hose clamps in front of the weight. I'll wait until winter to find the sweet spot. Ordered a new valve cover O-ring. I tried a little gasket sealer on it. Slowed it down but still leaks a little.

That ability to slide the weight front to back is a good idea! Not that I want winter to rush in for you to tune it where you want it though---LOL! Keep us posted when you get to try it out hopefully quite a while from now!
