Been coming in to the coffee spot the last number of days. Knew I could get a good picture when he was gunna leave. But no !!!!!!!! A cube van pulls in beside me. Jumpins any way. So got a picture, not what I wanted, but there ya go. Nice sounding V8 and a standard transmission.

When I saw the thread title, I thought you were talking about me!

I suppose this car is antique. I think Cat is about right, 1986, but I don’t know what year it is. If it’s 25 years old, It’s considered an antique here. But to me, something that’s around 1970 or so, or older is antique. I think in the antique tractor world it’s 1960 or so.

Owned an 84 z28 once. 305 automatic. It was a big ole pig.

Not really a fan of the 80s cars as a whole though...American cars haven't looked good since the 70s. Certain Japanese cars from the 90s and 2000s look good but none of them were really sold here in the states.

I think here in South Dakota 35 years old qualifies as an antique or "historical" as they call it here. My '72 GMC has the state issued historical plates. The '55 GMC has actual 1955 truck plates and the '70 Jimmy has actual 1970 passenger car plates. State wouldn't approve truck plates on it, dang it.

Good looking Camaro, Noel, That era has a big following too as does every generation of them! Maybe you should take a picture of this "coffee spot" where you see all this "automotive coolness" at for us too!

Looks like it says "Mel's" on the building Noel! The diner in the movie "American Graffiti" was "Mel's Diner"! Sounds like the place for car guys to hang out to me!

Thanks for the pics!
