1918 Buick

My friend's boss has a complete* 1918 Buick roadster in a basket. He wants $1500 for it.

* Complete means everything except the engine block. Apparently, a guy who owned it died and one of the stupid relatives sold the block which was aluminum to the scrappers. Now, where would you find a replacement?

IF no engine can be found, make it different. Repower it with a diesel.
