    New project

It's been a couple years since we disassembled my uncles 314, but I think that bar is factory, your pic brings up vague memories. That linear actuator is a bit of a bear, weight wise and accessibility wise.

Allis called that Shuttle Shift. They had Hydro, Shuttle Shift, and regular gear drive.

    New project

Hydro or shuttle shift? My uncle HAD a 314 hydro, till he blew the diff in it trying to pull a big pine log with it. Told him he should have waited till I came up and got my JD 420 out, have it setup as a mini skidder/forklift on the rear.

    One From Today…

Didn't get a look at the VIN, but I did see the 426 under the hood and it had the badges on it. I think it was around July. When I lived out that way I use to see all the shows I could, Chevy, Ford, Mopar, Corvettes, etc. A car guys dream in that area.

426 under the hood, a true "Superbird", right down to the horn. He "beep beeped" when I nodded at him as he left. Made me wish my dad never wrecked his 68 Road Runner, was candy apple red with a 383.

    One From Today…

Wish I had a cell phone or camera about 12 years ago. I was outside of Carlisle PA at a gas station and a guy pulled in with a canary yellow superbird, complete with nose and wing. You could FEEL the rumble when he fired it up.

    Ford 8n clutch not disengaging

If you can get it red hot before you weld it, it will help with the welding. When I was in high school one of the kids from another local farm brought in a hand crank corn sheller for FFA day. Towards the end of the day someone broke the cast iron handle. I brought it down to the metal shop and...

Couple pics for "Gasser Jim" aka @Sawdust

He had a passenger, no suit or helmet, so he was probably limited on what he could do.

Bar mower hydraulic to Electric Actuator

Push shouldn't be to hard, just mount a pulley somewhere and reverse the direction.

Bar mower hydraulic to Electric Actuator

I would look at maybe using a electric winch.

Kohler Magnum 18 in Cub 1862

Have you checked in the fuel tank? Depending on where the fuel line hook up is located, there might be something rolling around in the tank that blocks the fuel line outlet.
