It might be best if you bend the end of those clips a little so that they can't levitate out of those holes. Better yet, to use hair pins instead of cotter pins. Looks like a really nice job.

You should be able to look at the notches and rod from under the tractor. I would bet esbent is right on the roll pin. If not, I had a parts one with a partially broken rod.
