    Sweet Corn 2020

Soil temp finally got up to where it should be. Good we didn’t jump the gun, the rains would have moved it to the neighbors. First 3 small rows are in, the rest hopefully after work tomorrow. This is what we plant. Have never found better. It beats Peaches and Cream, Butter and sugar, all of...

Love for my mid sized trailer

I bought this 6 by 10 trailer a little over a year ago from a friend. words for beginning to rot, and there was a lot of flex in the frame. I ran it for a year, and then decided it would continue to stay in the stable. Waiting for the boards to go on sale, bought some new lights, and starting...

    Old Wisconsin

Lance, if there are tractor shows near you, a working display is always a hit. If you could find an old burr mill, flour grinder, anything belt driven... People love to see that stuff.

Closest I can find quick is the 69 Virtually the same tractor, except there may be some subtle wiring differences. It will be a good first step. http://www.stripmine.org/sears/manuals/91725120.pdf

If the air cleaner has the right angle snorkel on it, and the float sticks, it can put fuel down in through the cylinder and into the oil. If there is any question about the integrity of the oil, change it. Summertime use, SAE30. Also, if you have not planned on changing the rear end oil yet...

As long as you weren’t trying to brush hog, that will work fine with that engine. It has a lot more torque than you would expect. The Sears 12 for strangers are probably my favorite. Well balanced for power, and a well-designed machine. The only real problems to worry about are due to the fact...

Deleted thread is good enouth reason to leave

This is not an airport. No reason to announce your departure. You were almost banned after your hate filled vauge- threat- fest, but we decided that you may have been dealing with some very high level emotions. And rightly so. A disturbed individual with a weapon went on a rampage in your...

What hydro filter for 72 Gilson ?

Glad you were able to find some info. I just acquired one of these badged as a Monkey Warts. It’s pretty rough. I’ve never had a gilson before, never paid all that much attention to them. Seems to be a capable machine. I’ll probably get it back mechanically and park it roadside. Of course, I...

What did you do with your tractor today?

Mowed, then used Mr. Roper to move some lumber, then added my weights on it and lifted the 6x10 trailer on its side so I can replace the rotting boards.
