Hi Noel what brand is it here in MN there were a couple of companies that built that type of blower Erskine Mfg built them they also had the same only reversed so you backed the tractor into the snow so you didn't have to drive thur the snow, I had thought about one for my Ford 8N but never got one. So it looks ,ike you got snow? Thanks for posting

I’m not sure on the make Gary, but I think this may have been made in Ontario. But I’m not sure on that. Ya, I’ve seen them made pull or push. And I think there is some that could be switched back and forth. Just a fun old thing to have, and it does some work.
It has brackets on the back so when it’s not on the tractor, you can stand it up for storage.

Yea they were about a simple as can be for a blower in the right kind of snow they work good, many years ago my neighbor had one and came over and blew out my yard it worked good and I was happy. How does the Fergie hand it

That kind of a blower Gary, doesn’t have much frictional horse power loss, because the shaft is straight and goes directly to the impeller with no change of direction, and the tractor is basically the same, engine to pto shaft Is straight thru, not much loss from engine hp to pto hp. Not like compact tractors, with hydros, they can lose 4 to 6 hp between engine hp and pto hp.
