I believe they will fit fine.
I have a 68 with 24" tires on it and not a.lot of clearance.
Are you planning on using mid mount attachments?
The rear mount rod may hit the tire with bigger tires.
If only doing rear attachments, it's not a problem.
Depending on brand of tire, not all are exactly the size they say on the tire. 23x8.50x12 can be off some. Check the specs sheet on each to find out the true size. But I would say the 23x8.50x12 would work.
